Congrats - you have done it! You bought a guitar and learned
how to play. Now that you are playing for longer periods of time and have a
slew of material learned you may realize that your dream guitar isn't so dreamy
anymore. You have entered into what I like to call the "going broke"
phase of this hobby. As you've refined your playing, you have developed the
ability to hear the slight differences in the sound of your guitar that a
non-guitar player can't hear and will think you're nuts for noticing. Now before
you get all upset and look for a new guitar, just know that there are a few
simple things you can do to make the same old guitar dreamy again.
